Sansevieria cylindrica var. patula 'Boncel'

from 9.99

Here at Cultivate Propagate, we have a special place in our hearts for the Sansevieria genus. The “Snake Plant” or “Mother-In-Law’s Tongue” plant is often touted as an “easy care”, “indestructible” and “low maintenance” houseplant to newbies. And thus, it’s can be one of the first houseplant experiences we have. Sansevieria “Boncel” is a DEFINITE favorite of ours.

This is a funky lil hybrid of S. cylindrica that stays a wee bit stouter in its growth habit with fans of chunky leaves. This is a great little plant with loads of charm and character that will compliment any houseplant collection.

While these plants certainly are tough, they will rot away to nothing if you keep them soggy. And their growth will stall if you provide them with little to no light.

We definitely encourage you to put any Sans you have into more optimal thriving conditions, versus the conditions they’re often marketed to tolerate.

The regular sized plants we have in stock are about 5-7 inches in width, some of them with pups! The large size have multiple developed pups and have a wingspan of 6-9 inches wide.
